July Summer Program:
Brooklyn Summer Players has been running as a four-week musical theater program for
young people aged 8-13 (entering 3rd through 8th grades in the fall) since the summer of 2002.

Classes During The School Year:
In the fall of 2005, Brooklyn Players started hosting classes during the school-year on a trimester
basis in Corinne Goodman's home on 7th Street in Park Slope.
|

In addition to being creative artists and gifted teachers, the staff at Brooklyn Players have all
been trained to support young people to flourish in a non-competitive environment. At all school-year
and Brooklyn Summer Players classes and activities, students are taught not to tease or put anyone
down, including themselves. This creates a safe and thoughtful environment, where students learn
to try things they don't think they're good at, as well as take risks to further develop their
strengths.
